Test sieve terminology

装料量 charge Place a sample or part of the sample in a single test sieve or test sieve.
松装密度 apparent bulk density The ratio of the mass of the charge to the volume at which it was placed on the screen
颗粒密度 particle density The mass of the material to be sieved and the ratio of the objects on the sieve after screening.
试验筛test sieve 筛面 sieving medium A face having regularly arranged holes of the same shape and size.
筛子 sieve The screen is placed in the screen frame for screening the device.
试验筛 test sieve A sieve for particle size analysis of sieved materials in accordance with a test sieve standard.
合格试验筛 certified test sieve Test sieves that have been inspected and identified by a designated specialized agency and are considered to meet an agreed standard.
匹配试验筛 matched test sieve A test sieve that reproduces a test result of a better test sieve for a given material and within the specified range.
全套试验筛 full set of test sieve A test sieve for a given type of screen surface included in a standard specification.
常规试验筛组 regular set of test sieves For screening, several sieves were selected from the complete set of test sieves according to the normal rules.
非常规试验筛组 irregular set of test sieves For the purpose of particle size analysis, several sieves were selected from the complete set of test sieves that were not in accordance with normal rules.
试验用套筛 nest of test sieves A conventional or unconventional set of test sieves assembled with the upper cover and the transfer tray.
试验筛深度 sieve depth Test the distance between the upper frame of the screen and the screening surface (see Figure 1).
试验筛高度 sieve height Test the distance between the upper frame of the screen and the edge of the bottom frame (see Figure 1).
筛框 frame A rigid frame that secures the screen surface and limits the material to be sieved.
盖(上盖) lid(cover) A cover that fits snugly against the screen to prevent the material to be screened from escaping.
接料盘(底盘) receiver(pan) Fit snugly under the screen to receive the portion of the material that passes through all of the screens.
筛孔尺寸 aperiure size Indicates the size of the opening on the screen.
筛分面积百分率 percentage sieving area The ratio of the total open area of the screen surface to the full area of the screen surface is expressed as a percentage.
金属丝编织网 woven wire cloth The screen faces of the mesh are interwoven by the wires.
金属丝直径 wire diameter The diameter of the wire before it is woven into a wire woven mesh.
经丝 warp Press all the longitudinal wires on the net when weaving.
纬丝 weft (shoot) Press all horizontal wires on the net when weaving.
编织型式 type of weave The way in which the warp and weft are intertwined.
平纹编织 plain weave The warp and weft are intertwined with a one-on-one weaving method (Fig. 2)
斜纹编织 twilled weave The weft threads are interwoven with two weaving methods (Fig. 3).
穿孔板 porforated plate A screen surface of a plate having symmetrically aligned holes of the same shape, the holes being round holes or square holes.
电成型薄板 electroformed sheet A screen surface of a thin metal plate consisting of a circular hole or a square hole, which is electrochemically produced.
孔距(节距) pitch (centres) The closest distance between the edges of adjacent holes on the perforated plate.
筋宽 brige width (bar) The closest distance between the edges of adjacent holes on the perforated plate.
边宽 margin The distance between the edge of the perforated plate and the outer edge of its outermost row of holes.
筛板厚度 plate thickness The thickness of the sieve before the perforation.
冲孔面 punch side The punch enters one side of the perforated plate.
筛分试验test sieving 筛分 sieving The process of separating different particles by size using one or more sieves.
筛分试验 test sieving Particle sieving is carried out using one or more test sieves.
颗粒粒度分析的筛分 particle size analysis by sieving Specific material samples are divided into different particle sizes by screening tests and the results are reported.
手工筛分 hand sieving Screening by hand shaking with one or a set of tests.
机械筛分 machine sieving Screening by mechanical shaking with one or a set of test sieves during sieving or charging.
干筛分 dry sieving No liquid screening.
湿筛分 wet sieving Add liquid-assisted screening.
过筛率 sieving rate The ratio of the amount of material passing through the sieve to the given mass of material during the specified time.
筛下物(细料) undersize (fines) The amount of the sieve is specified by the sieve.
筛上物(剩余物) oversize (residue) The part of the charge that did not pass through the specified sieve screen.
筛分终点 end point When the sieving is carried out until the amount of further sieving is insufficient to significantly change the sieving result.
近似尺寸颗粒 near-size particle A particle approximately equal to the size of the mesh.
栓塞 pegging The case where the particles of the material to be sieved block the sieve holes.
堵塞 blinding The particles of the material to be sieved block the sieve holes.
粒度级 fraction (size fraction) The amount of charge remaining on the test sieve or the receiving tray.
结果的表示   expression of results 颗粒尺寸(颗粒通过的筛孔尺寸) particle size (sieve size of a particle) The size of the smallest mesh that a particle can pass in the most favorable position.
筛分颗粒分析 size analysis by sieving The samples were divided into different particle fractions by sieving and the results were reported.
粒度分布曲线 size distribution curve A graph representing the results of the particle size analysis.
筛上物累计分布曲线 cumulative oversize distribution curve In a set of test sieves with a decreasing mesh size, a plot of the cumulative mass percentage of each sieve screen and its corresponding mesh size.
筛下物累计分布曲线 cumulative undersize distribution curve In a set of test sieves with a decreasing mesh size, a plot of the cumulative mass percentage of each sieve undersize and its corresponding mesh size.
